Mission

Shootersnetwork.org is committed to the enhancement of skills of professional firearm instructors across the world. being a professional firearm instructor is an advanced skill. Not only as a shooter, but also as a good trainer. Being a good or even a great shot, does not automatically make you a great instructor (and vice-versa).

Not only does the Shootersnetwork.org dedicate all possible time to stay on top of current trends in adult education, but constantly does research to develop new methods and training aids in the firearms training industry. The times of just taking someone to the range with and old Colt 1911 and send a few shots downrange is long gone. Times change. With this, technology changes. Apart from new firearms on the market on a regular basis, new methods in adult education is constantly developed.

As the Shootersnetwork.org we are fully committed to the development and delivery of high quality training. We are committed to produce sought after instructors, whether in the field of law enforcement training or training civilians for hunting, sport shooting or just occasional shooting. We research statistics on matters relating to self-defense, and in turn provide high quality realistic self defense tactics that work.

The Shootersnetwork Instructor Membership was developed to accommodate all qualified firearm instructors from around the world.

About the Instructor Membership

Shootersnetwork.org is the product of more than 25 years of hands-on experience in the firearm training industry. This opened up a lot of questions and challenges like, language barriers, learning disabilities (like Dyslexia, etc.) As a professional trainer, we are expected to cater for everyone. To do this, you need to understand each student in your class.

The founder of Shootersnetwork.org is a professional firearms instructor for more than 20 years and a law enforcement veteran. He is a qualified Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Practitioner, Life Coach and professional in Adult Education.

Instructor Membership Eligibility

Shootersnetwork.org and IC GUNS INTERNATIONAL reserve the right to select members holding Instructor Membership Status. To qualify, you must be an active firearms instructor. This includes law enforcement, private security and civilian firearm training. You are required to provide proof of qualifications upon application. The application is subject to an Eligibility Evaluation fee of $5 which is non-refundable.

The board reserves the right to scrutinize any application and verify any qualifications, certificates, resume references, contact relevant governing bodies, etc. to verify membership eligibility. An applicant will be allowed to appeal upon rejection of Instructor membership. Appeal in this regard will require additional information not supplied in the initial application, where required.

Should the applicant not meet the requirements, the applicant will have the option to enroll in a Firearms Instructor course provided by Shootersnetwork.org or affiliates, such as IC GUNS International.

Once the applicant can prove qualification, a new application may submitted. A new application will incur additional costs.

Approval of Application

Once your application is approved, you will be notified via email. An annual membership fee of $20 will be payable to complete your membership application. A payment link will be available through the email.

Application Fee

GREAT NEWS! You have read in the previous paragraph that we the Eligibility Evaluation fee of $5. We are offering a FREE Eligibility Evaluation until the end of August 2020. That means that you only pay the membership fee once your application is approved.
